One-Storey Universe on Kindle

For those who own an Amazon Kindle (I got one for Christmas), my book, Everywhere Present: Christianity in a One-Storey Universe is now available. The price is discounted when compared to the paperback. Conciliar Press, its publisher, is increasing the number of titles available in Kindle format. I welcome this new means of sharing my work. I am grateful for the support I’ve had for the first printing of the paperback – I’m told it has nearly sold out. I have hope of working on another book project later this year.

It’s a wonderful book that I have referred to innumerable times when trying to describe the distortions that result from a non-sacramental view of reality. I look forward to being able to read it – again – on Kindle. Thanks.

I never got a Kindle for Christmas nor am I going to purchase an Kindle, so I will simply reread my paper back. As Chrys said it is a wonderful book. If you don’t have it buy the paperback, you will be glad you did.

Any chance of a release for the nook? It’s not exactly the same as the kindle.

    Zachary,
As far as I know, the kindle is the only format they are using at present. Is there a way to convert Kindle format to Nook?

I also got a Kindle (Touch) for Christmas. It has been probably the worst Christmas present ever; because of it, I am spending all our money on new books! 😀 And, now, Father Stephen is enabling my addiction by offering up yet another book I want to read on Kindle!

Just kidding, of course (well, not about the impulse book buying; my wife *did* tell me to rein that in…not two days after Christmas, even). I will, however, be picking up the new book in Kindle format; I’ve been wanting to read it for a while, so it doesn’t count as an impulse buy. 😉

As to the question of converting the book to Nook, the biggest issue, IIRC, is whether the Kindle version has DRM on it or not. If not, there are programs out there you can use to convert ebooks from various formats to others; can’t remember any off the top of my head, atm.

I’m currently reading this and it is pretty good so far. If you have a Kindle or Ipad buy it and let me know what you think. My copy is an actual book bought at a local bookstore. (It makes me feel less guilty about the digital books I buy.)
