My family (other than those scattered across the country) and I will be in S.C. for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I’ll check in as time allows (and wi-fi can be located). May God be thanked. Glory to God for all things.

Have a very good Thanksgiving – you and your family. I have warm memories of your parish from my occasional visits on my travels home – and I pray that all have a very good weekend.

Just curious: how many Bishops in new calendar jurisdictions, other than the Carpatho-Russion Metropolitan Nicholas, grant dispensation from the Nativity Fast for this most pious of civil holidays?

I love American Thanksgiving, I am actually Canadian, but some American friends and I have a standing agreement that allows us two thanksgivings. I do Canadian and they do American. Double love for me.

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God (Col. 3:16).
